Introduction: My tennis background is extensive, both as a player and a coach. As a junior, I played for the Ukrainian National Team in the 14's, 16's, and 18's, representing the Ukraine at European Championships and being coached by Tamara Artynskaya. I turned professional at age 16, winning the ETA European Women's 16 Championship, playing ITF/WTA 50,000 tournaments and attaining a ITF ranking of 608 in doubles in 666 in singles. From 2007-2011, I played number 1 and 2 singles for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), was named to the All-CAA First Team, and qualified for the NCAA final Doubles Tournament in 2011. I also earned a degree in economics from VCU during this time. Additionally,I have extensive experience in teaching tennis, including large groups of children and the 10 and under quick-start program. I worked with promising juniors as well as state champions. I coached USTA women's league 3.0-4.5 levels and taught private levels to every age group.
Also I became a platform tennis professional and I am qualified to teach paddle tennis. I reached top 50 in the country and made it to the round of 16 at National Platform Tennis Championship in 2013 at New Jersey.
I played on a professional tennis circuit and as of August 11, 2014 had a ranking of 666 in the world and recently reached the semis in singles and doubles at ITF/WTA professional tournaments. My goals are to get as much experience as possible and to transfer this important experience along with tennis skills and techniques to my tennis students. I am very passionate at what I do and I give 100% effort when I teach. Always keeping in mind the levels and abilities of every person I work with.
