Absolutely the worst experience I have EVER had with a contractor ! Quoted painting walls, ceiling and trim, finishing wall patches and taking care of nail pops. Told us how much attention he pays to detail and how neat he and his crew works. What we got was, a total disaster ! No drop cloths used and paint everywhere -- on our hardwood floors, furniture, cabinets and appliances. Drips and paint runs on virtually every wall and door they touched and they didn't even bother to sand the wall patches ( that they explicitly listed would be done in their proposal ) instead, they just painted right over them ! Claims that they applied two coats but, it is more than obvious that they did not. Trim paint on walls and floors, wall paint on trim and ceiling, large areas of door casing and baseboard that were missed. All of this and it took TWO of them a full week to paint less than 700 sq. ft. ( according to their proposal, 637 sq. ft. ) !!
When we complained to them about the quality of their work, they began "back-pedaling" on the terms in the written proposal and said they would fix the mistakes. We gave them more than one chance and each time, it only got worse. We're STILL cleaning their mess more than a week later !

The court case against Colors N More for the damage that they did to our home IS NOT OVER. Regardless of the outcome of ANY court proceeding, the evidence speaks for itself. Colors N More's claim that they are "Committed to providing quality at a fair price" is the same promise that they made to us when they quoted repainting the interior of our home ( and related drywall repairs ). This will be my final post on this subject, as I refuse to waste any more of my time thinking about or dealing with Michael Snell, Colors-N-More Painting or his sh*tty work. Mr. Snell has maintained from the beginning that he provides quality work at a fair price and that quality is their first priority. Since then, he has made nothing but excuses for his inability or unwillingness to provide what he promised.
I have provided numerous photo examples of the work that he did in our home so that others who are considering hiring a professional painter can see TRUE testimonials of the results of their work. Additionally, the court case against Mr. Snell IS finally over and EVEN THE CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE, after reviewing the photos, chastised Mr. Snell for the "very sloppy and unprofessional painting" and ordered that my payment for his work be refunded.
TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE REVIEWS AND LOOK AT THE PHOTOS THEN, DECIDE FOR YOURSELVES IF THIS IS THE KIND OF WORK THAT YOU WOULD WANT IN YOUR HOME BEFORE HIRING COLORS-N-MORE.
