FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are some standard prices, but specifically with old work quite often there are certain things that require different pricing. In addition there are so many different options with product lines I don't like to set a standard price, but I will meet with the customer, explain exactly what I'm charging for and why in detail. I can and will itemize the bill. And my price is my price. This will not change unless there's something unforseen (IE: rotten wood). When we do find anything like this we stop work and address it immediately with the customer. I will discuss the work needed and together we will reach the best option.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial meeting at your home at a time that is convenient for you, discuss work needed, different choices of products as well how these products will preform for you (colors, lifespan and warranty) and the installation process. Finally providing a quote for work needed and with approval will schedule a start date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Whenever there is a new product my suppliers tell me about it. Explain the product its advantages and supply me with literature and training. I have learned about the different siding and roofing materials over the years and can explain the products, the function, performance, warranty and the proper installation as to not void the warranty. I'm a master certified window installer through Simonton windows Inc.
