FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing isn't terribly complicated but it does involve several considerations. Among those are location, equipment needed, the desired use/quality of the final product, time involved, special requirements for the job, the proposed budget and any other specifics requirements. I can always give a general price quote for a shoot. When I have more information, I can usually give you a lower quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to what they tell me about what they want. I make suggestions and give them options. We arrive at an agreement as to the approach. i give them a price quote in writing. At the shoot, I show them test shots to confirm that we are getting the look they like. We shoot and confirm that they have good choices to pick from. i give them a cd of all of their shots. What follows from that point is based on the nature of the job. They may have me to photoshop retouching on specific images. They may want graphic work or prints, various kinds of files. The job is completed when the client is satisfied based on the requirements set for the work.
