Introduction: We opened in 1994 out of a need for small professional security and investigation firms as the market was being taken over by the high prices “super companies” who were in the business for profit and alienating the real security firms who are in the market for the customer. They did not value the customer for anything but how much they could charge if they were the only game in town. We value the customer as more than an account number and a profit margin! Thin Red Line Investigation and Security is a privately and family-owned company whose managers and owner will stand a post as well. We provide you with the account managers, owners and supervisors’ cell phone numbers and WE ANSWER when we are called, 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The owner of the company is an active DCJS instructor and very active in the field in a management compacity for his company and visits all the sites on a weekly basis and will speak to the property manager when he stops by if they are available

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer competative pricing for our services. Our patrol vehicle is marked and visable. We employ highly trained and skilled officers with a selection of uniforms to fit your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone contact is the first, then setting up a meeting on the site the customer needs our services on and discussing the services they want or offering suggestions on services, sign the contract and begin coverage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All officers are liscensed by Virginia DCJS and in full compliace as armed security officers, we are also unarmed capable, we are all trained in CPR and First Aid. With monthly training that is completed both in the office and in the field, this way we cross train all officers on the site and in the Patrol field so any officer can perform the job of the officer required duties on each site.
