Great service, easy communication, and super fast - fit us in with only a few days' notice to grind down 11 stumps before we had a patio installed. Even backfilled in the grinds into the soil so we could have nice mulch. Would definitely recommend.

Mr. Payne and his team did an exceptional job, arrived when he said he would and maintained communication throughout the process. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good job. It's hard to find good workers any more, but Payne's Tree Service is an exception! I won't hesitate to use his company again!

My experience was great. He and his wife came out. They called to update me that they would be a little late due to traffic - completely understandable. I walked them around the property to show them the job site. They wasted no time and got to work. They worked without break for 3 hours grinding stumps. They ground one more stump than originally quoted at no charge. There was some chain-link fence debris wrapped in roots near one stump that I told them not to worry about. They didn't hesitate to grind completely despite the chain-link pieces and claimed that the grinder teeth were only $10/ea and it was worth risking it to do the job fully. All the information I read about grinding suggested grinding at least 4 inches below the surface - these two ground a foot below or more in some places. They were VERY thorough. I would recommend them to anyone and I hope to work with them again in the future.
