Everything about our experience with M&J Services was remarkable. From the responsiveness of the person who was helping us schedule a good day and time (which was within 24 hours of when I contacted them, literally had help the next day) to the interaction with the hvac mechanic/technician. Central Air Conditioning Repair or Maintenance

If it wasn’t for them my house would still be 82 degrees inside. I originally hired them to put refrigerant in my Air Conditoner until I could find someone to take the attic stairs down for a reasonable price so the company our home warranty sent out could get up there to install the part needed to fix our A/C. When I told Mike what was wrong and about the warranty company he said they could take the stairs down and it was for a good price. The guy they put me in touch with came in right away on time and he was very knowledgeable. I was able to get my A/C fixed and they came back the very next day to reinstall my attic stairs! I would definitely recommend M&J services to anybody they are fast and efficient and they don’t try to dig in your pockets!

Central Air Conditioning Repair or Maintenance

After going through my home warranty company for an A/C issue at my investment property, I decided to try my luck with hiring my own contractor to make the repairs because the company my warranty company utilized, Bell Cow HVAC, quoted me $1200 ($75 per lb of refrigerant) to recharge the unit after replacing the compressor they diagnosed as being faulty. Mind you, the compressor was still under manufacturer warranty so it would be replaced at no cost ultimately, and the labor for the compressor repair would have been covered by the home warranty company. After much consideration, I determined utilizing The cash out option offered by my home warranty company would be more cost effective. I posted the potential repair on thumbtack on a Sunday and Mike of M&J Services reach out to me immediately. After explaining my issue with my home warranty company and the repair that I needed to Mike he quoted me an extremely reasonable and fair price that would save me a significant amount of money. I accepted his quote and scheduled the repair for the upcoming Tuesday. Mike and his colleague Jacob showed up to my investment property on time and got to work immediately. They actually determined that the previous company misdiagnosed the compressor being bad and that the A/C was experiencing a reversing valve issue. Ultimately, Mike and Jacob got the A/C up and running again. I was very impressed with their professionalism and HVAC knowledge that I also utilized them to install dampers in the property’s air handler the very next day. I intend to utilize M&J Services in the very near future to install a new thermostat at the same investment property. I also wouldn’t hesitate to recommend M&J Services to anyone because of Mike’s and Jacob’s knowledge, professionalism, and quality of work.

Central Air Conditioning Repair or Maintenance

Knowing nothing about HVAC, I read a lot of reviews before deciding to contact M&J Services. I wanted a contractor whom I could trust. Mike was super responsive, was willing to accommodate our schedule (out-of-town owners), and was prompt to arrive for our appointment. Mike and Jacob troubleshot our system, were quick to diagnose a blown capacitor as the culprit. This was the second blown capacitor and the third HVAC contractor to service our heat pump in 2 years. The first two contractors did not provide a reliable and sensible solution despite being expensive (hence trust issues). As soon as Mike explained why our capacitor kept burning out, we agreed it was time to replace our old heat pump. On installation day, I received a text bright and early from Mike saying they were on their way. They started at 8am and was not done until after 5:00pm. Mike had to run out a few times, but Jacob stayed at our job site the entire day. Jacob is so hard-working. Our attic must have been very hot that day, he was drenched after a couple of hours. Jacob and Mike were very respectful of us and of our house the entire time. Drop cloths were laid out, shoe booties were worn, they even asked for permission before using our bathroom. At the end, we had a brand new working heat pump and air handling unit. Cold air was blowing out of the vents again. Pure joy! Mike and Jacob stayed to make sure the house cooled down sufficiently before calling it a day. Later that evening we noticed a minor damage in the ceiling below the attic where M&J were working. I took a photo and texted them the next day. Mike responded right away asking when we’d be in town next so they could come take a look. No skirting the issue. I was impressed! A cause for the ceiling damage still needs to be determined. I can give an update to this review when that happens, but for now, I wholeheartedly recommend M&J Services, and will definitely use them again for our HVAC needs. Integrity and honesty, this company has got both. I wish Mike and Jacob much success in their future endeavors.

    We do charge a service call fee to troubleshoot there system. We do provide a free estimate on replacement of there outdated system.

    My process for new customers is the same as existing customers I treat there home as if it was mine,

    I have 17 years of hvac experience in installing and service work, I’ve graduated from tcc in 2003
