I am a local florist in Suffolk va. After moving out here 4 years ago from Norfolk va. I decided to close our Ghent shop and do all of our work in one of our buildings on our property. We love using local farmers if possible and working with fresh new ideas on all sorts of projects and events. Every job we get is another adventure and I love meeting new clients and getting to know their style of what they are looking for. This industry is ever changing. I love working with my Brides and their families, getting to know them and hearing what their vision is for the upcoming wedding or event. It's such an amazing process. Taking classes to perfect my skill is so fun to keep fresh and updated on new things for the floral industry. It's a great way to fill up our winter days after a long wedding season.

Corey was so flexible with each crazy idea I threw her way. I'm an event coordinator for a large corporation and know what it takes to produce a well planned event. Corey helped me be just the Mother of the Bride on my daughters big day. I confidently handed off the decorating details to C&J floral. The wedding decor was beautiful and came off without a hitch. Thanks to Corey at C&J floral, I still have all the hair on my head!

Corey was great to work with, especially since I had to get a florist at the last minute. I am not a big flower person, but we were able to come up with a great concept and colors for my wedding. Everything was affordable, and I was given tips on how to save my wedding flowers for later. She was very knowledgeable and answered any question I needed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are very reasonably priced and more then willing to work with our clients with their budget and guiding them as to what flowers will help them stay within it without loosing their vision.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Having a sit down one on one consultation to go over their vision and get that relationship going is key to me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified floral designer. I'm always trying to pick up classes to try new ways to perfect my skill.
