Don't be fooled by Flash-Blub hair removal ads. Some people say that they have lasers to do hair removal but when and if you ask, they will tell you that they only have an IPL machine for hair removal. IPL is not a laser it is a flash bulb of tremedous strength. The whole principal of LASER HAIR REMOVAL is selective photothermolysis. It is how a laser can provide you with the best results by targeting only the hair and not heating up your skin (epidermis) as an IPL machine will do. An IPL (which we only use for skin treatments) was not originally designed for hair removal but to do photofacials. A laser has a single wave length of light and we at Esthetic Laser Clinic have 4 (four) different lasers for all skin types and an IPL machine for your skin care need. We only us our IPL machine for what they are best at and that is skin care. Our lasers are from industry leaders in the field which include Candela Laser Corp and Luminies Laser. Our Laser machines include Candela GentleLASE and GentleYAG lasers , Lumenis Lightsheer and Lumenis Quantum lasers. As such, all hair and skin types can be treated with the right laser for you. None of our lasers are older then 3 years of age and are routinely maintained by the manufacturer. So when it comes to Hair Removal your education in the field to make the best decision is very important. We at ELC provide you with a free consultation (valued at $200) to provide you with the difference laser options and results.
