What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely yes! I think continuing education is vital for professional and technical development in any field but especially in the area graphic design and marketing. I stay current with trends, technologies and methods subscribing to lynda.com, attending training seminars and by networking with other artists and designers in my field of expertise.
As our society becomes more and more immediate with handheld devices like smart phones and tabletsÂdesign professionals must stay on top of and be trained in the latest methods of submission. One of the reasons I chose this profession is there are always new trends and techniques in getting the brand or message out to the consumer.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have a very broad range of current and past clients. As a volunteer board member of Cape Henry Rotary Club in Public Relations and Marketing, I created and branded through print, web and social media marketing the Oyster Crush Charity Fundraiser with a 70% increase over last year. Receipts are still coming, and we are astounded.
Types of customers: Lifestyle, healthcare, seniors, real estate, restaurant, special events.
Nonprofit, B2B, B2C, Government subcontractor for Navy + Marine Corps.
