- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are paid on a contingency fee basis. No recovery for our clients no fee is charged. If we settle your case withoutr having to file suit our fee is 33 1/3% of the gross settlements amount. If we file suit our fee is 37% of r gross recovery. A client is responsible for cost but they are recovered at the end of sa and the case when it is settled or resolved. There are no up front out of pocket expenses paid by the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting them face to face at the beginning and throughout the claim. Many lawyers have an investigator meet the client and sign them up. We meet the client up front. You know who is working for you. We provide our personal cell number to all our clients so we can be reached and we meet clients on the weekend schedule permitting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My partner and I have worked exclusively in personal injury law and workers compensation law for a combined 51 years. 24 years for me 31 years for him. Hands on experience and we have tried cases in every court in Hampton Roads including the Eastern Shore And Isle of Wight counties. We have represented many clients from Virginia who have been hurt in other states including NC, SC, GA, Fla, LA,West Va, DC, is Maryland,PA and NY.
