FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Your personal training price will be dependent on whether it's face-to-face or virtual, how far I am traveling to meet you, and whether or not I need to transport my own equipment to you. There are several variables that play into your price. I look at each client uniquely and I want them to pay accordingly. I also price my training on the fact that I am a certified Exercise Physiologist and have both a master's degree & bachelor's degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology. There are many personal trainers out there without a college degree in the field, with limited anatomy/physiology knowledge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'd love to meet as soon as possible even if it has to be over FaceTime or Zoom, first. We might take measurements a couple of sessions into training together, but I typically don't on day #1 (unless you request that we do). I try to determine your goals ASAP as that is ultimately the reason you are training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Exercise Physiologist through ACSM. I have a master's & bachelor's degree in exercise science/kinesiology (James Madison University & Virginia Commonwealth University). I also research literature to stay current on my material and education. I complete CEC's monthly as well.
