I have been training with Jill for over 4 years now. I have a lifetime goal to accomplish a number of long-distance thru-hikes around the world. Jill's experience in both training people so that they can achieve their personal goals as well as her own hiking experience means that my sessions are tailor made for what I want to do. She has also been very astute to the limitations that I bring to the sessions (i.e., old sports injuries and a knee replacement) and has been instrumental in helping me develop better flexibility and strength in those joints. All in all this has been both time and money well spent.

Jill is a great personal trainer. She knows how much we can do and pushes us a little harder to increase our stamina and strength. She is also very knowledgeable in the food/weight area and gives us guidance on how to best achieve our results. I would highly recommend her as a trainer.

Jill has been my personal trainer for 1 1/2 years and it is the first time I have ever been successful, healthy, and without injury. She is 1) aware of my age and physical ability, 2) knowledgeable of the fact that overweight people have to work at a different pace and adheres to the session appropriately. 3) while she offers encouragement along the way, she also pushes you to work hard and be successful. 4) she monitors my weight, will review food charts, offers suggestions on dietary intake, and offered a session on food and health that really got me kick started. Mainly because she never said the word "diet" rather emphasized lifestyle change. Jill is passionate about her job and it shows in the way she helps everyone at the gym, weather she is training you, teaching a class, or watching the floor, she is always there to help, assist and coach. I cannot express enough how thankful I am that she came into my life and has helped me throughout this challenge.

Jill is an amazing trainer. She is focused on results. Jill is truly passionate about seeing her clients succeed and reach their goals. During the Covid crisis she has being willing to zoom train, meet at a park or even come to my home. This above and beyond effort exemplifies her focus on the client and their needs! If you are looking for a trainer that will push you, encourage you and get maximum results, then Jill is the trainer for you!

I've been working with Jill for 5 years (as of 5/18/20), she's the 4th trainer I've had. Additionally I've worked with another 5 or 6 when Jill was on vacation so I have plenty to compare her to. She always has a plan for the workout but adapts it to the day - if your shoulder is sore she changes the weight, changes to another movement or rewrites the plan on the fly to fit what you can do that day. She quickly gets to know a client and pushes you to get the best out of each workout - at the same time if she sees that you really do have a problem (you're not just complaining) she shifts the plan. During COVID-19 she has been adapting workouts to use what's available - not being in the gym there is not a full set of weights and all the equipment. For almost 10 months now we've being going to a local park once a week to work on my running, as a result I've gotten much better - but I still don't like running. We've also gone out several times this spring to do a bike ride, pushing for both distance and speed.
