I've been looking for a competent, responsive Irrigation Company for some time now. It seemed as though the quality companies were so thinly-stretched that they couldn't handle any more clients. For me, that issue was solved today. James was great in every way. He moved an appointment to get my service done. During the installation he noticed an issue with my irrigation system that I wasn't aware of. He did what he could to work around the problem, and promised to return and provide a proper solution. Based on this experience alone, I'm enthusiastically giving Hydra FIVE stars.

The guy who showed up did a great job for a lot less money than I feared. He didn't leave until he was sure all of the links were sealed and that what he did worked. He also made sure I understood what he did and what to do in the future.

Do NOT waste your time or money with Hydra Irrigation Company. I specifically told them up front this was for a house well pump, not an irrigation system. They still sent a technician out — who immediately told me, once he arrived, that they don’t even work on houses. Instead of being honest before taking the call, he ran some water into a bucket, repeated exactly what I had already told him (low pressure), and then left. That’s not troubleshooting, that’s confirming the obvious. A few days later, I get slapped with a $120 invoice for this “service.” There was no actual service performed, no repair, no diagnostics — just a waste of my time. This feels like a scam to collect trip fees while doing nothing of value. If you’re looking for real help with your well or pump system, avoid this company at all costs. Unprofessional, misleading, and unethical in how they treat customers.
