- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My usual rate is $100-125 an hour. This rate may increase for travelling more than 20 miles to an event but I will also consider discounts for longer events (3+ hours).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a preschool teacher and a am also a crafter/artist with many different mediums. Kids and I just click most of the time, so their experiences with me are fun for both of us. :) I work well with "kids" of all ages though, and older kids and adults love the glam of festival glitter looks and henna.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is important to consider the number of children at an event. If you are planning a party for 10 children, you will not need a face painter for 2-3 hours, even if all the children are getting full-face art. Also consider though, even with just cheek art, if you have 30-40 kids, you will need an artist for no less than 2 hours.
