It's not about me, but the client. I want to make your event memorable. From wedding receptions to theme parties, I pride myself on making the event memorable with music played and working with all parties (Photo, Video, Caterer, ect). Keeping everyone involved and being the MC/Host of the event. Guess you can say I will keep you on time. My years/experience will make me stand-out. You get a sense of what is needed when you have that first meeting. This really serves as the building a relationship that will last for many years. I maintain the equipment to top shape and always carry back-up equipment in case of a break down. Plus I'm always asked to increase the volume, not turn it down. This is very, very important. I am also a Honorable Discharged Veteran. Helping you the client have the Best Experience ever!! Entertainment for the guests, watching everyone have fun. Meeting new people and learning music styles from others. When djing events/charities it feels good to give back.

He dressed in accordance with the theme... was pleasant and personable! He played the best songs and constantly told guests about the food,drinks etc. Everyone loved him and we will use him for every occasion that requires a DJ!Id give him 100 stars if I could!!

Me and my God daughter Nicole had a Halloween party and Jay was our dj. We have gotten other djs before but by far Jay was the best . When we have our next party we will be asking Jay for his services again. Everyone thought he was amazing and wanted him to stay and extra hour so we paid for him to stay an extra hour . Well worth the money.

Never having done this whole wedding thing before, Jay was an invaluable source of knowledge and helpfulness! He was there for us every step of the way. He is friendly and so easy to work with and always has a positive (calming!) attitude. He starts you off with a general reception timeline which is supposed to be to help him out, but I found myself referring to it constantly and using it while working out details with my other vendors. When it came down to the wedding day, Jay and his son, James, were there early making sure everything was set up and running smoothly to ensure there were no catastrophes. The music and sound quality were beautiful, and I honestly would have just ended up with boring old "Here Comes the Bride" if it hadn't been for Jay's help on Spotify offering alternatives for ceremony music! Our reception was fairly low-key (to our taste), but when a few up-beat requests were thrown into the mix, James led the dances and even I couldn't resist joining in. Even though we weren't a partying group, everyone had a great time and that was largely due to all of Jay's help and excellent service. Jay & James were pnenominal. They allowed me to enjoy my daughter's wedding by keeping everyone happy & everything on schedule. James got out on the dance floor & led dances for everyone to participate. I shopped around in the early stages of planning but once I spoke to jay, I was sold. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have several packages available too help save you money. Everything from a basic dj to all the bells and whistles. The goal keep the price reasonable. The average hourly ranges from $75-$100 an hour and depends on set-up too. My goal is to give anyone that hires me a top-shelf DJ at a reasonable price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet at the venue, if needed to make sure there are no issues. Get feedback from client for the event, and discuss other options in sound and lighting or set-up area's and how I will MC/Host the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30yrs doing Wedding Receptions and Bridal Shows as the Event DJ and Emcee, 4 yrs On Air Radio work, 10yrs nightclub work (Michigan, New Jersey, Florida, and Georgia, and 10yrs as a sound/lighting board technician
