S&A Entertainment… On October 15, 2016, Bill & Jenn were the DJ’s for our daughter’s wedding at Carolyn Baldwin Lake Pavilion in Farmville, Virginia. I will lead with, if I could give Bill a 10-star rating, I would! We received several quotes and after reviewing websites and reviews, we narrowed the list down to two-(2). We spoke to both DJ’s, one young and hip and one slightly more mature. There were several things that stood out with both. When we began to weigh the pro’s and con’s; Bill’s credentials far exceeded our expectations. First, Bill is retired military and so is my husband, he admitted that he may be more mature but rather than play what he wanted, he would work with our daughter and soon to be son-in-law to play what they wanted. He offered to meet us at the venue for preliminary review of needs for lighting and sound equipment for both the ceremony and reception, etc. Bill became more of a friend than a DJ; it was easy and comfortable working with him. We definitely made the right decision to go with Bill! Bill met with either my husband & I and/or Jen & Andrew multiple times to sort out the time-line with music, music for the pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception. Bill & Jenn arrived on-time and did a great job with the set-up and lighting. The music was great and Bill had worked with Jen & Andrew on an anniversary dance for which Jen’s grandparent’s won with 65 years of marriage. Bill was so sweet, presenting them with a nice bottle of wine. The shoe game was fun AND Jen & Andrew’s exit was beautiful with tons of bubbles and wedding streamers. The only hick-up was a mix-up in the music for the garter toss but that was OUR DAUGHTER’S fault; she switched the bouquet & garter toss at the last minute so that’s not on Bill and/or Jenn. Best Wedding DJ ever!!!!! Very organized, great equipment setup and effects, and amazing playlist. He knew what type of songs we enjoyed, and kept the party going all night long! So easy to work with, very kind, charming, amazing personality, and overall just a great guy! You can definitely tell he loves what he does, and it truly shows! Photo booth was a huge hit! Our guests loved it! Our wedding was a huge success, thanks to Bill! SO IMPRESSED! :)

Bill, and his daughter, Jennifer go out of their way to make sure that you have a good time. We had them DJ our wedding, and he added special effects, at no extra charge. Then, we saw them again, on Valentine's Day. They honored as many requests as they had time for, which a lot of DJ's won't do. We had the best time!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are members of the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA) and we attend their annual show each year where the latest and greatest sound, lighting, photo booth equipment and accessories are displayed by top of the line vendors. We also constantly study videos and lessons learned from other professional across the country.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As I mentioned before, my entire family has a true love of music. We are all musicians in addition to my daughter and I being DJs/MCs. We also love to entertain and to see people having a great time. That means more to us than the money but, hey, we have to pay for the equipment, gas, insurance, etc., etc. somehow.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wedding receptions, theme parties, holiday parties, and several pool parties for Williamsburg area timeshare resorts.
