My handman called me at the last minute to cancel my appt. I went onto Thumbtack and found Kevin and he answered my request immediately! He installed (3) kick plates for my front, back and garage doors and fix a plumping issue. Very resonably priced. Kevin answered my request immediately. He gave me a quote to pick up furniture from MD and return it to my home in Woodbridge. He took care in removing it and placing it on his truck using straps and blankets to protect the wood. He brought it to my - up the stairs in record time - and had in place within mins. He was punctual in both replying to my messages and meeting in MD. Very professional and had the job done and in his way in an hour. Very reasonably priced. Kevin was responsive and came quickly to see the work needing done and gave an immediate quote. He removed an existing ceiling fan, installed a new one, and mounted a flat screen TV in my son's room. I requested the wires on the tv to be concealed. When I later inspected the work, the wires were not concealed. I reached out to Kevin, and after purchasing a wire concealing kit from Amazon, he came back and hid the wires. The ceiling fan is remote-controlled with retractable blades - he had no problems with the installation and all features of the fan work just fine. He was a little high with the initial quote but brought the price down to be more in line with other handyman quotes I'd received. Overall, he did good work and I would use him again for other projects.
