- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self teaching is exponentially more important than any college ever will be. I am always up for taking classes, but you can learn a LOT about software programs on the internet. Every few years I'll take a figure drawing class because I enjoy them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I didn't really decide. I started drawing at around 3 years old, and painting at about 7. One day I realized that I wasn't very good at anything else besides construction, and now I find most of my employment in graphics and illustrating.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That this is serious work, and it takes every bit as much effort to become professionally skilled as any other academically aligned career. I enjoy my work, but I do not do this for fun. I do it to make a living.
