Paid $900 for deck stain, power wash and the staining of my deck. In addition to needing to reschedule with us multiple times, Danny did just a terrible job with the application on our deck (see photos). After confirming the stain I was buying with him via text, and asking if he was comfortable applying that (see text photos), Danny began applying the product to our deck. When I came out to see how things were going, he sternly told me that we needed to talk. That he didn't know I would be buying an oil based stain, and that the additional work involved would mean he needed to charge me more. I told him that he confirmed the stain via text and that if the project would cost more, he needed to tell me before he started working! Upon letting the stain dry, it was very evident that it was applied extremely poorly. There were even stains on the side of our house, which he didn't whip off. Danny then admitted to me via text that he wasn't happy with the way the stain came out on the surface of the deck, but did not reply when I asked him to come back and fix it. I encourage you to look somewhere else for your project needs. We wasted $900 and now will have to pay someone to fix this mess.Aug 6, 2018Verified

Communication with this contractor was generally poor. Originally quoted $2400 before coming out to look - fully twice what FH Furr quoted me after inspecting the project. I thanked him for his time and told him I'd need to look elsewhere. Immediately counter-offered at $1400. We arranged for a meeting this morning. At the last minute, I got this message: "Sorry can't make the appointment, you will have to find another contractor, sorry!!"
