- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I ask for the customer's "Why" - "Why do you want to learn Spanish or use my Spanish translation services?" I do this because I believe in starting with the customer's end in mind, then working backward to create a timeline and articulating each objective along the way. This ensures the customer knows I respect his/her time and care about his/her satisfaction of receiving a top quality service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was raised as the son of missionaries to Chile, South America, where I first learned Spanish. Afterward I received my Bachelor's degree in Spanish in 1991 from Evangel University, Springfield, MO and taught Spanish in both private and public schools over a span of 17+ years. I also had the privilege of traveling on several missions and educational trips abroad to Spanish-speaking countries, which gave me the chance to educate fellow travelers/students "on site" on how to communicate effectively with the native Spanish speaker.
