Introduction: Learn to sing with a coach with major industry experience! I have over 15 years of experience singing professionally, and 10 years of experience teaching in all genres. I have taught in Los Angeles, Atlanta and now Washington DC. I teach Speech Level Singing which I received my training with a man named Seth Riggs out of Beverly Hills. He is known in the industry as the vocal coach to the stars. Seth taught me this transformational method which I guarantee will put your voice in the right place. Each time we meet, you will feel and hear improvement; learning how to sing with a stabilized and connected voice through a wider range. You will learn how to breathe and feel relaxed while singing; keeping your larynx low and in the proper position to produce a full even tone without pitch and tone problems. Rebecca is a Speech Level Singing vocal coach/teacher who is trained with the Internationally recognized SLS program, developed by world-reknowned Seth Riggs. Seth is known for his training of music moguls such as Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Aretha Franklin, Josh Groban, and most of the big names in the music industry. She is the reason that I am singing/songwriting today. I showed up into her studio and made a bid to her, asking her if I ever had/have a "chance" at making my dreams come true. Based on her knowledge of SLS and how it heals/develops the voice; and after listening to my short "audition",...she immediately said that she would be happy to help me continue on my path towards my dreams! She encouraged me to start songwriting.....something that I had been afraid to do for many years. Because of her kind attitude and passionate support of me, I have written over 35 songs since that time, just a little over one year ago. She coached me in my aspirations and taught me in my vocal needs. She has excellent tools at her disposal, to teach almost anyone out of "chest pulling" or vocal "flipping" over the bridges in the voice. I've come to know her as "the person who got me started".... as I am now recording my first album in Wilmington, NC, as an independant Christian singer/songwriter... and well on my way to performing my songs in churches in my local area and touring in my region! Truely, I owe her so much, for giving me so much inspiration and support. I don't know anyone else who would have given me the amount of support that she gave me! I am so grateful for her!! I have been singing and performing music for over 12 years. Having tried countless teachers, I never understood what vocal coaches meant when they said to sing from my diaphragm and not from my chest, until I began working with Rebecca Jimenez. With her help, I finally had a vocal coach who made me feel and hear a difference in my voice after the first lesson. I have been hooked. She helps me prepare for big shows and for recording sessions. She is also an extremely talented singer and performer which is also nice because she is able to give great business advice about the music industry. My only regret is that I did not find her sooner in my career.
