Lawn Mowing:
Keep your lawn and yard tidy and neat, and spend your weekends with your family instead of working in your yard. For an affordable price we will mow your lawn, power edge your walks, patio and driveway, and string-trim along your fences, planting beds, trees and any structure within your lawn areas. And since grass clippings are a source of natural/organic fertilizer for your lawn, we recycle/mulch your lawn's clippings back into your turf to promote a healthier lawn. As a final step, we blow your walks, patio & driveway clean of clippings and debris. And since this service is provided on a regularly scheduled bases, with service on the same day of the week each time we come out, you are sure to have a well manicured lawn for you and your family to enjoy!
What is mulching/recycling of grass clippings?
When mulching/recycling, your grass clippings are not bagged. Instead grass clippings are cut and re-cut into smaller clippings by mowers using special mulching blades. This process eventually drops the finely cut clippings back into the lawn where they decompose and become a source of organic nutrients.
Why mulch/recycle grass clippings?
In general, mulching/recycling your lawns grass clippings is a good idea because it helps provide the soil with increased ground cover to hold moisture, and acts as a fertilizer. Clippings can contain up to 80% water, 5% nitrogen, 2 percent potassium and 1 percent phosphorus that can continuously fertilize your lawn! Additionally, mulching/recycling can reduce the amount of fertilizer you need to apply to your lawn. Also, while clippings decompose, they also serve indirectly as a food source for the bacteria in the soil, which are doing many beneficial things (such as decomposing thatch) for a healthy turf environment. Mulching/recycling grass clippings also helps the environment by reducing the amount of landscape waste that ends up in our community landfills.

A thick layer of mulch helps trees, bushes and flowers retain water, a thin layer of mulch to an already mulched area will improve the appearance of your landscape.

Lawn Repair:
Is your lawn deteriorating and struggling to green up & thicken? We offer a variety of services that will improve your lawns appearance and health. We provide core aerating, de-thatching, over seeding, fertilizer compost/topsoil application.
Aerating- helps loosen up compact soil by plugging and bringing out topsoil from below. Aerating also helps water and nutrients infiltrate into your lawn. Aerating greatly improves the health of your lawn and should be done at least once a year in from March to early June in the spring and august to October in the fall. Aerating before over seeding is a must for any lawn renovation project.
De-thatching/Power raking- removes the access buildup of thatch and dead grass/debris in your lawn. If your grass has a lot of dead yellow patches or has dead grass mixed in with good grass, power raking will remove the dead material to keep it from smothering your lawn. Power raking also helps pull out and tear up bermuda and crabgrass so that over seeding with regular grass seed can be performed. Power raking is usually done from March to early June in the spring and august to October in the fall.
Over seeding/Compost Spreading- throwing down grass seeds is often ineffective in repairing your lawn, thats because exposed seeds dry out during the day and will have a difficult time germinating. Applying a thin layer of compost will cover up grass seed without smothering existing grass. Not only will it act as a natural fertilizer for months to come, it will also protect new grass seeds from drying out, therefore greatly improving the health of your lawn.
Sod Installation- Installing sod that is already established is the fastest and most effective way for a green healthy lawn. We install fescue sod as well as other sod upon request; please contact us ahead of time.
