Introduction

I have a thorough understanding of K-12 mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics. I enjoy helping an individual to better understand mathematics. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am only meeting remotely. Since there is no travel involved, I have lowered my pricing by approximately 33%. For example, in person SAT prep has a rate of $60 per hour. When meeting via FaceTime or Zoom, the rate is only $40 per hour. I will continue to offer this option to my local clients once the COVID-19 is no longer an issue.

Mr. Pow is a great teacher/tutor. He walks his students through the math problems so that they get a good grasp of the knowledge/material on how to solve the problems. His lingo and way of words are an exceptional characteristic that makes him a great teacher. Another thing, we really like about him is his accessibility! He is always down to help his students with his flexible schedule to accommodate any quick surge support at the last hour. Overall an excellent tutor/mentor.

I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting with Becky (name changed to protect privacy) to help her to develop a much better understanding of mathematics in general. Specifically, she is enrolled in an extremely fast-paced high school Geometry Honors class. In just a few (5 or 6) weeks, Becky and her classmates are attempting to learn one entire school year course (36 weeks). This is quite a challenge indeed, Since Becky is very motivated and is willing to work hard, she will earn the credit (quite likely with an "A"). This allows her to enroll in Algebra 2 in the ninth grade. I shall be very pleased to continue to provide Becky with support as necessary for years to come.

Bill is a great tutor & teacher. He really helped not just with my homework but really taught me college algebra. He taught me what I needed to know to do well on my own for the tests & I got good grades. Better than I ever did on my own in my accelerated summer math class. I would recommend him to anyone especially if you have trouble learning math.

Bill has been tutoring my 11th grade daughter in all areas of Algebra. My daughter is very introverted, struggles to ask for help, and has ADD and dyslexia. Bill has succeeded, where others could not. She needed someone very knowledgeable in Algebra, and the ability to make it understandable to her, with how she learns. Bill was able to do that through online zoom sessions. His help has been invaluable to her, and every time she starts working with him, her grades and test scores go up, and her stress level goes down. Bill is Experienced, with expert level knowledge of Math, patient, flexible, accommodating, friendly, and honest. We will definitely call on him when she goes into her Senior year of high school. And I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a math tutor.

Miaya gets the most possible from our meetings because she is prepared with questions about the concepts that she is not 100% sure about. We do not waste time reviewing the concepts that she has mastered. Instead, we focus in the areas where she needs more thorough knowledge.
