Introduction: When I work with a client, my philosophy is that I am an equal partner in their success, or their failure. So when I work on software or a web site, I put in as much time and effort as if it were my own business. I try to work on flat rate projects because I don't want to nickel and dime a client. The best thing about what I do is that I meet all kinds of business people and I learn about them and their businesses. Often time I am able to offer ideas to them beyond the scope of my own project that can help them in other areas of their business. Building my business is about building relationships and partnerships with others. It's about being creative; problem solving; enhancing the lives of others.

Patrick Ciriello has helped me on a number of occasions by remotely commandeering my computer. I had a hacker a while back who had installed a lot of malware into my PC, among other things. Patrick got in there, found all of the threatening files, and deleted them for me. He is speedy, on time, and knows his stuff. Once I made the mistake of getting tired of my computer reminding me that I wasn't backing up my files. Since all of my interests were on line, I wasn't that concerned about it. Everything I had saved on these online sites could be easily replaced. The PC gave me the option of backing up my files on one of the drives in my PC,so, not thinking and getting frustrated, I impulsively hit the "OK" button, and went about my business. I few months later, that drive had become overloaded, and the computer started to delete things it thought were unimpot\tAaant, but I needed to operate my PC. Patric\k was very helpful to me . He knew what was happening, but didn't understand why, until I finally remembered what I had done. Patrick was able to fix the problem for me. You'd have to ask him how. There have been other times he has helped me, that I can not be specific about,as they escape me at the moment, but Patrick has always been willing to help me in a timely manor, and gets the job done. He is fast and efficient, friendly, and well worth asking for help.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been helping people solve all sorts of problems my whole life. My parents brought me up this way, and I shall continue to do so for as long as I am able. It wasn't until college, however, that I realized I had a gift for technology, so I switched my major from physics to computer science

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You should expect a lot of questions. Many clients don't fully understand the depth and breadth of what might be behind their stated goals. Too many times a goal will only be the tip of the potential iceberg, and too often a contractor is willing to supply a bandaid when in fact the real issue requires some serious digging.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

You should really think about what benefits you are expecting from a successful completion of the project. The clearer the goal, and the better it is communicated, the happier you will be with the results.
