Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Availability, collegiality, and actual experience sets us apart. We love our jobs and fight hard to win. Personally, I must stay in touch with clients; thru text, email, phone, and other media. I am "older", but still a generation-x baby, which means I adapt to technology as it impacts the law, which it has! We often share ideas and brainstorm amongst ourselves to explore legal ideas to maximize our success. I know that many lawyers brag about their years of experience, but often, the truth is that they are rarely in court, or are afraid to stand up and fight in court. Saying ___ years experience merely looks good and tells you how many years a lawyer has had a bar license. Look underneath the hood for actual courtroom experience and success. Winning! Solving a legal problem through strategizing with the client and getting it resolved. When a client says "thank you", and I say "ah, no!" And the client says, "no really, I want to thank you!" ... then that feels good.

I was referred here by my work CLC program and i have regretted going here ever since. The lawyer i was assigned was extrememly unresponsive to my emails, phone calls, and voicemails. Without notice, my laywer went on vacation without assigning a backup to my case, makng the deadline miss that we had already talked to her about. The office workers are extremely unprofessional, dogs are roaming over the office, and the billing department was completely unorganized. I requested to pay my balance in full once work was completed, and paid the balance told to me by the head of their accounts/receivable dept. and the email i was stated i paid in full for all services performed through the date of payment, then a month later, i receive another bill for services that were never submitted to accounts payable by the lawyer. They claimed this was a copy issue in which the invoice emailed to me was copied over my request to pay in full...(VERY SHADY imo) BE WARNED, it is my reccomendation to avoid this law firm at all costs as it was not worth the head ache for me.

It amazes me how some decide to flat out lie in a written review about a business because of anger or their misunderstanding, seeking to cost a firm business and ultimately its reputation. My firm has been around for decades with a great reputation in this community as well as statewide. We take accurate billing seriously. We have a monthly billing cycle that has a cutoff of the last day of the month so that bills are reviewed before going out. This means, for example, that legal costs and/or fees that are not incurred or posted yet do not appear on a prior month's bill. When a client calls to pay the balance on his current invoice, it can only be for the time and tasks the month before. The "current" invoice would not include any legal costs/fees that are posted from the 1st of the month forward. The claim that a lawyer never submitted her time to accounts payable until later is not accurate. When an invoice was paid in full on, let's say the 10th of the month, it would necessarily only include fees through the 30th/31st of the prior month.

I've worked with John Stocks for many years, and I continue to be highly impressed by him as a family law attorney. His knowledge of family law rules and procedures is unparalleled, and he is diligent and thorough in his preparation for cases and representation of his clients. I would highly recommend Mr. Stocks as a family law attorney.

Unprofessional, unethical and highly questionable behavior. Beware of this firm. They are charlatans and actors. Don't sell yourself short; go somewhere else.

John explains his legal advice well so you can get a good grasp on his recommendations. It takes a remarkable skill set for an attorney to be able to address and help you with your family legal issues, but also still be in touch with the very personal human element of your matters. John has this skill set.
