Rob did an amazing job with patching up a grossly deteriorating door threshold. He ensured that the end product was functional and esthetically pleasing to the eye and the HOA. Would I hire him again? Absolutely! As a matter of fact, we have already planned for further projects.

Mr. Cox was available the same day, was reasonably priced and did a great job. I intend to contact him again for a small project I have coming up. I would definitely recommend him.

Robert fixed the faucet leak and cleaned my gutters, just in time before the heavy rain, for a fair price. I would highly recommend Robert, and plan on hiring Robert for some finish carpentry work.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 4 years in finish work and 1.5 years as a handyman.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

When wanting new cabinets do I want custom semi-custom or build ins? There are many different ways of planning and executing a great kitchen layout but the most common would be having a cabinet company come to your project and take down measurements which than are transferred to a CAD or a computer jenorated model of the kitchen cabinets. The cabinets than are made to specified dementions in the layout and then shipped ready to be I installed by yours truly.. If having millwork done what style and how detailed? There are many different types and style's of millwork but Craftsman style casing and mitered casing are the most common. It's going to be a good idea if your going to replace the doors to factor in the casing for the doors and base board the reason is because it's not possible to fit the same casing on the new door. It might be good to also replace the window trim to match the doors and base board but it is optional. If having a front exterior door installed what lighting would you like and what style door? There are many things you can do for your entry door and in lots of different materials. Starting with the lighting or the number of windows. If you are in a city or busy town it might be best to go with no windows or just a single window light door. If you want more light you can get a full light door and any size window in-between. It is always a good idea to know the details like the material of door you want fiberglass and wood are the most common but you can have steal also. Keep in mind that there is other factors in replacing a entry door like siding and/or new hardware and painting the door.
