As we went through the process of them painting two houses for us, all of their staff treated us with patience and respect. The guy who came out to give the bid was unobtrusive and thorough and his bid was detailed and very reasonable. The paint job that Arthur and his crew completed on our two stucco houses is immaculate. Arthur obviously takes pride in his work and offered some great suggestions on colors and lines which we ultimately took. He's also a great guy and did some simple gutter and soffit repair work for us as no extra cost. At our final check there were a few aesthetic changes we wanted and they were happy to do them for us. We have no complaints, and indeed couldn't speak more highly of these guys. It's been a few weeks, but we still feel so happy whenever we look at our houses!

This past week, through CertaPro, I had Wayne Tribble and his team prime my ceilings, do drywall repair, and paint my entire condo. Wayne and his team were outstanding.First off, Wayne immediately went out of his way on a weekend to meet me beforehand to go over the paint job. I gave him the keys to my place, and he started early that Monday morning. I even dropped by around 10 PM later that week to have a sneak peek of the new colors, and he was still there working hard. Whenever a question came up, I could easily text or email him and he was super responsive. I had an accent wall color chosen that was custom made, and Wayne went to multiple places to make sure the color matched perfectly--he went above and beyond.Even though I had a lot of work that needed to be done, Wayne and his team finished it within a week. During the walk-through after the job was completed, I was amazed. My condo looked like a brand new place. He and his team did a meticulous job. I have a lot of custom shelving that's built into the coat closet and bedroom closet, and there wasn't a speck of old paint left. The paint job was extremely thorough, and every surface--even behind large appliances and custom shelving, were completely covered. HUGE thanks to Wayne and his team for an incredible job. I would definitely recommend him for any paint/drywall jobs you need. First class work.NOTE: When I had CertaPro come out to my condo for the estimate, Eric was fantastic. Super approachable, disarming, and not pushy at all. After I signed the estimate I received, I was introduced to one of the CertaPro project coordinators through email who would relay my information to a painting team. She was VERY hard to track down. I wouldn't get an email response until over a week later (after calling Eric wondering if she was on vacation). Once she finally introduced me to Wayne and his team, the rest of my communications were with him, so it was super easy.Wayne was very organized and patient, so once he and his team were on the project, everything went smoothly. He is the main reason why I give CertaPro five stars. Would hire Wayne and his team again in a heartbeat.

If you dont want to read this entire review, I'll sum it up by saying that CertaPro is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.MONDAY: My tenants front door was also to be painted during this project, so she took a day off of work to be present for the job. 1pm still no painters. I called Anne. She wasnt available (surprise?) but she sent me a text about 30 minutes later saying we would have a painter at our house no later than 3:30 to get the door DONE that day. And that we would also have a crew at our house the next morning (Tuesday) to start the rest of our job. The painter showed up at 4:30pm, painted a single coat on the outside of the door and then left. The inside of the door also needed to be painted but he didnt even start on that area. My tenant was told by the painter that he would be there the next day to finish.TUESDAY: no Certapro. No call. Nothing. 4pm my realtor stops by to check progress and nothing has been done. I call Anne shes not available. I text Anne she texted back saying she had spoke to the painter and that he was there. Impossible, the tenants have a camera and no one showed up all day. No progress on our project and no apology from Anne. I ask her again to call me, she doesnt call. We call Eric, he apologizes and says that the painter was stuck in traffic interesting. They promise he will be there tomorrow.WEDNESDAY: Anne sends me a text saying she will update me with progress photos throughout the day. 11:30 AM i get my first set of photos. The pictures are of the painters set up, no progress has been made. 3:30 PM she sends me photos of ceilings in the small bedrooms and bathrooms. thats it. Theyve only painted 4 small ceilings in 4 hours. Anne says they are still working. My realtor shows up at 4:30PM, no one is at the house. Anne says theyve taken a dinner break they dont show back up until 6:45, then leave again at 7:15PM.I contact the tenants. The tenants tell us the painter had a girl hanging out with him in his van while the front door of our house was wide open. He also had another person stop by in a separate vehicle. They check their security cameras and watch as the painters went down to their unit and hung out on the patio for a while. They left evidence, my tenants patio chairs have paint on them.Now Im upset day three of the job, hardly anything has been done, I cant get ahold of Anne after several calls and messages, Eric is the only one answering his phone and even he seems at a loss at this point. Im now concerned because Certapros employee had people in and around my house and he has a code that accesses a key via a lockbox. I called my tenant to have him remove the lockbox. He finds the lockbox WIDE OPEN with the key inside. Im shocked, angry and exhausted. I text a photo to Anne and Eric. NO REPLY.Certapro will cost you time, money and possibly your sanity. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have no idea how Anne has this position, I have no idea how Certapro is in business, and I hope that Eric finds employment somewhere that will value his time and customer service.

CertaPro painted my exterior about a year ago and it looks fantastic. From working with the office staff to having the painters out at my home, it was a great experience. I referred them to my brother and to a friend and they were both thrilled with the work. We recently hired them again to paint our kitchen cupboards. They look so good!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You get what you pay for. Verify the contractor has the proper licenses and insurances, they have been in business for over 4 years, they will support the work performed after the work has been completed with a written warranty. The contractor should provide a written or emailed proposal, not a estimate. A estimate is subject to change beyond a change order.
