It was my error to even accept to do business with this man. He has 3 business. He does not have a valid set of books for any of them. Non does not have Quickbooks or any accounting software or back up documentation even old school to complete the PPP applications. Bob, via verbally & text & email gave me numbers to work with to complete the PPP applications for him. I completed 3 different PPP applications all with numbers he provided without any back up. Bob didn’t have a regular payrolll, only contractors. I continuously told him we needed a P&L or tax returns or bank statements. I completed all 3 PPP loan applications based on what Bob gave me. I sent the completed applications to him to sign. Once I received the signed applications back, Bob wanted them submitted to 12 banks. I continuously told Bob that we had to have the back up documentation & set up his books ect & that the banks would require it. The proper documentation was never provided to me. Once the applications were submitted, I went out of town. Bob recommended me to 2 other business friends of his as well. I did require payment for the time I had into it & did provide Bob with completed PPP applications. I received a very un professional email late at night from Bob demanding to know what the banks had said. I had already told him via text and email that the banks were declining his applications because of no back back up documentation as expected. At that point, I was done doing business with Bob. I would not recommend even doing business with Bob since he’s not willing to provide the necessary back up information to complete the process. I am one that tries to help every small business owner I come into contact with & In this situation, I should have adhered to the flags from the get go & not agreed to try to help Bob.

This seemed like a good fit at first. They had multiple years of bookkeeping that needed to be done & no QBO even set up. This was hours worth of work. They invited me to their home & we went over the work that had been done, they were happy and content & asked me to bill them, all this is a recorded conversation to back up what I am saying, mutually. When it came down to it, they knew what my hourly rate was and didn’t want to pay for the hours it took to set them up & weed through a new QBO set up, 2 years of transactions, last moment 1099 filings, Shopify, PayPal and more. They didn’t want to pay the 3 months of invoices they received. They wanted the world for nothing. I chose to no longer do business with them because they wanted to take advantage of my firm. Sad but true. The Tinali owners are not honest. They are the epitome of why I have my contracts.
