He was very communicative the entire time, arrived right on schedule, and took some great photos. Even though my unit doesn't get great light and I had to do it in the evening, he was still able to produce quality photos with a quick turn-around that evening. Even a few digital touchups! As an actor I was looking for a photographer to update my headshot. I know from experience that a portrait headshot is different from acting headshot and not every photographer knows how to do both. I’m happy to say that Rachel definitely knows the difference. From the beginning she knew what I wanted, within the 45 minute photo session she was able to show and work with me on the monitor of what worked and what didn’t worked eventually capturing several perfect shots. I was more than happy with the final results.

I am so happy with my headshot! I was not excited about having to get my photo done for work but working with Rachel was so easy and the picture turned out better than I expected. I contacted her through Thumbtack and she was able to get me in right away at a time that worked with my schedule. Her studio in Freemont was easy to find (I was coming from Bellevue), she had great suggestions about what to wear and what to avoid, she did a great job with touch ups (she lightened up the major dark circles under my eyes), was very efficient but also was able to take quite a few pictures in our short session so I had lots to choose from, and she has a delightful personality so was great to work with. If I have a need for a professional photographer again in the future I will definitely reach out to Rachel!
