Introduction: ***Please take a look at my website for more detailed information about the investment & experience before reaching out so you know we're the right fit for you! Thanks so much!*** Hi! I'm Natalie Post, & I'm delighted you're reading about me. Blushing, even. I am a Seattle-based portrait photographer specializing in relationship portraiture and professional headshots, photographing anything and everything from adventure elopements to corporate branding. I am dedicated to providing an experience that will forever change your perception of photography. I guide my clients from concept to completion, culminating in images that I guarantee you will love (like real deal love). I aim to provide a custom, unique experience for each and every one of my clients. I work fast to keep the energy level high, and I'll always give direction so you're looking and feeling your best. Another thing my clients love: I happen to be an expert in retouching. Anything I can't do with posing, we can always do with Photoshop (not that you need it; YOU'RE PERFECT JUST AS YOU ARE...but sometimes there's a stray hair or three that we just need to sort out ya know?). I'm the luckiest girl in the world to get to do what I love for a living. Interacting with my clients and getting the best expressions out of them, authentically capturing their relationships and personalities, is perhaps my favorite part of the job. Headshot Photography

Natalie is a top-quality photographer. She is gifted at not only photography but also at allowing her clients to feel at ease during a photoshoot. She has a great personality and makes the entire shoot so much fun. You can tell that she puts a lot of thought into the entire customer experience, from beginning to end. I am so excited to use the photos for my business and personal needs. She overdelivered, and I would absolutely work with her again. I give her my highest recommendation.

Portrait Photography

Natalie was hands down AMAZING. I did the 10 photo package for my branding/website. My photos came out better than I even expected (and I had high expectations.) She is a blast to work with and makes every step fun, easy and relaxed. It was so fun that I wanna do it all over again! Her hair and makeup person did a fabulous job and the whole process felt seamless. Natalie effortlessly “got” my vision and was always five steps ahead of me, which gave me total confidence (even though I can be picky.) She even went above and beyond in unexpected ways and I felt SO taken care of. Yes, yes, YASSS. Hire this woman, already! I can’t recommend her enough.

Engagement Photography

Natalie is fantastic. She’s communicative, clear, on time, full of ideas, and the consummate professional. When Covid messed with our engagement photo plans in more ways than I even have time to explain, Natalie had backup plans that turned out beautifully. She kept us laughing and even though I was sweaty and hate having my picture taken, she managed to make it fun and captured us with some of our most authentic facial expressions. Our photos way surpassed my expectations. We initially bought a package of ten, thinking we just needed them for save the dates and our wedding website. We ended up with some bonus headshots (good ones!) and extra engagement photos because we couldn’t choose. Book now. Natalie is incredibly talented and she’ll capture memories that you’ll treasure for a lifetime 💕

Natalie is wonderful, professional, responsive and I could not be happier with my headshots. She was also flexible, really listened to what I wanted while also offering ideas and suggestions. I LOVED her.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Typically, sessions are paid for up front for a flat rate, and clients can then choose what they'd like to purchase from their session, whether it be digital files, custom wall art, press products or albums, etc. Headshot packages start at $200, Family/senior session fees start at $250, products/images start at $50, and image collections start at $1195.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Being photographed is an intimate experience and can be a vulnerable thing for many people, so it's incredibly important to me to develop a relationship with everyone a photograph. I want to get to know my clients, so I can better understand how I can create the best final product for each and every one of them. First, we'll do an over the phone or in-person consultation to discuss your ideas about your session, go over clothing, location options etc. We'll then generate some image goals together and decide when and where will be best to accomplish them!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied photography as an art major at Colorado State University, am a PADI certified underwater photographer, and trained under a veteran photographer as her studio manager for three years during/after college. I've also spent countless hours on my own studying retouching techniques, lighting, and posing, not to mention the small fortune spent on courses and retreats to get more hands-on education in my craft. Each experience has shaped my skill set in a different way, giving me a vast range of capabilities that aid in being adaptable for the various needs of my wide variety of clients.
