What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $100 an hour if all you need is one session to get unstuck. If you would like me to write your resume or cover letter, that price includes up to three revisions. If you're working on clarifying your career goals, getting the next promotion, or changing industries, I offer monthly subscriptions to combines personal coaching with eCourses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To stay current with my own skills I have a mentor who is a Master Certified Coach and I read relevant books and reports.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I realized I wanted to be a Coach when I looked back over my life and saw a passion for helping others make informed decisions about what they wanted.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The two greatest requests for my service is for career clarity through exploration and guidance for focus through job search.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
What I am most proud of is that when a client who had been laid off tried to quit coaching, I was able to help her acknowledge that she was grieving the loss of her job. She addressed what she was feeling, let go of what was holding her back, and positioned herself to land a job that gave her everything from her wish list.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice to you as you look for a Career Coach, is that you schedule a free consultation. It's the only way for you to truly know if the Coach fans your flames.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What I wish you knew about me is that I believe in you too. I am here to help you recognize that you have already begun to create your legacy. Let's celebrate and finish the work with flare and grace.
