Introduction: Hi I'm Curtis Rivers. I have a passion for music. I am experienced with providing music and MC services for weddings and events. I have been doing weddings since 2011. I have a high-quality sound system, a subwoofer, lights, wireless mics. capabilities of indoor and outdoor setup,my cost is $150/hr setup and teardown will be included in the charge. $150 deposit to secure your date. This hourly cost gets you everything. Additional cost may be added depending on travel.

We had Curtis DJ our wedding and he was wonderful! Quick to respond and so kind. Our venue was a bit tricky with our setup. Ceremony, dinner and dancing all in different areas of the venue but Curtis was great and made it a breeze. Everyone had a blast and he was an awesome DJ!

Our organization hired Dancing With Rivers to DJ our annual holiday party - we couldn't have made a better choice! And since Thumbtack won't let me check all of the things we liked about let me say that we liked his responsiveness, professionalism, punctuality, work quality, and value. And I'd like to add to that his patience and creativity. In addition to the great holiday music selections, over the course of four hours Curtis did a great job Mc-ing. He kept us on track and made sure that important announcements were made on time. But I think his greatest feat was our white elephant exchange. With over 50 participants it can take quite a while to get through all of the opening, stealing, opening again, etc. Curtis did a great job of keeping things moving so we could get to the dancing! We would definitely hire him again and would recommend him to anyone considering him.

Curtis is an absolutely incredible DJ! He creates such a fun and inviting atmosphere for everyone! He made our wedding day stress free, was punctual on song timing, and makes each wedding unique per couple. Hands down would hire him for any other life event we’d have! You won’t be disappointed if you hire him for your big day ❤️

He was fantastic work with. As a fellow Dj myself I must say he stuck to rules of throwing a great set together. We were able to send a list of songs that he played most of excluding the hardstyle which was my request and he only didn’t play it because he had people dancing and he did come to me to ask if that’s ok which it totally was. One of the biggest thing about djing is reading the crowd. We had a lot of dancing going on of all ages including my father in which I’ve never seen him dance. He's experienced and it shows in his work. We had a timeline of when things were supposed to happen and when we needed to shuffle things around (which often happens with weddings), he adapted with no issues. He checked in with me throughout the night to ensure the music was great and it was. I didn’t expect so many people to dance. One of the last songs was a dance with my son and It was a very special moment. He did a dance request for me and my mom. When I last minute decided to have a dance with her and I told him I didn’t have a song picked out and he came through with a perfect track. My son also wanted to Rick-roll everyone and he made that happen which was hilarious. He's a very nice and a lot of fun to work with. As a fellow Dj I’d recommend his services
