I have a high-quality sound system, a subwoofer, lights, wireless mics. capabilities of indoor and outdoor setup,my cost is $160/hr setup and teardown will be included in the charge. $160 deposit to secure your date. We hired Curtis to DJ our wedding and it was perfect. He communicated well from the time we hired him until the wedding. He played the music we requested as well as playing all the songs needed for specific moments throughout the night. He also helped MC throughout the night which was a life saver during the wedding. He’s highly professional and his set up was inclusive with wireless microphones, a solid sound system, and lights for dancing. We’d hire him again for any event.

I couldn't have been happier with what DJ Rivers pulled off for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Curtis exceeded our expectations in terms of communication and preparedness. He took his time in communicating and preparing the music we wanted so that the party had a real natural flow to it. Our wedding layout involved a ceremony and reception outside for the evening, until it was time to move inside the barn for dancing the rest of the night. Curtis had the equipment and know-how to prepare his audio set-up in both locations, which made things really easy on us and our event for a smooth transition from reception to party time. We originally anticipated 200 people at our wedding, but after no one declined our invites and a few stragglers later we hit 250 (no including small children). This required us to change our seating arrangements for both the ceremony and reception, and again, Curtis was very easy to work with in making these adjustments. Everyone was able to hear the music and speeches even. He explained to us that he had not hosted that many people before, but I don't think anyone at our wedding thought otherwise. Curtis nailed it. If you're looking for an easy going DJ at a great value that wants to put on the party YOU want, DJ Rivers is your guy.

Dancing with Rivers was recommended to us by my son’s barber. I have worked for a catering company for the past 10 and a half years and the DJ is key to a truly successful wedding day. However, the majority of these DJ’s charge significantly more than we were willing to pay at this time, so we decided to give Dancing with Rivers a try. I am not going to lie, I was really nervous about having a DJ for my daughter’s wedding whom I had never had the opportunity to see work, but Dancing with Rivers far exceeded our expectations. He was professional, prompt, flexible, easy to communicate with, a great MC, and threw one heck of a party. His playlist flowed so well together that no one ever left the dance floor! He also had a great looking set up. Dancing with Rivers wasn’t just worth the money, his work exceeds some of the most expensive DJ’s I have seen. Book him while you can, because once the word gets out of how amazing this guy is, you are gonna have a hard time booking him for your event.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been djing for many years. I got my start doing weddings by a friend asking me to do theirs. I had such a good time I started doing it more frequently
