Joel is very good at his trade. He went above and beyond on every project. Sheetrock, mud, tap, fixed leaks in the sunroom, and skylights. Meticulous work he paid attention to what I wanted and added his expertise in a very professional manner. I recommend this company and will hire them again!

Joel installed two bathroom fans. One of the old fans that needed to be replaced also required a new vent outside. Joel helped explain our options for the project, and was very easy to work with. He worked well with our family, which includes a usually timid cat. He was also responsive and did excellent work. We will not hesitate to use Chrey Construction again.

I am very very happy with the work that Chrey Construction did for me. I have cedar siding on my house and found out in December that many of the pieces of siding on my chimney had gone soft and some had holes or were split. Joel came out listened to my concerns, inspected the chimney and reviewed the potential scope of the project with me. He then sent me a very reasonable bid. I had three other bids, one very close to Joel's, one higher and one extremely high (the extremely high one was not a Thumbtack contractor). Anyway, I decided to go with Joel and am glad I did. Quality right up there and was very professional throughout and kept me informed of status. My opinion, you won't go wrong if you select Chrey Construction for you project.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $85/hr or will give you a bid on your project. I don't charge for setup time or for cleanup time. I have 25 years experience in construction and 10 as a general contractor. I make sure that you're 100% happy with the job before I leave.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a bid job, I typically would like 30% of the project up front and the rest upon completion. For an hourly job I would ask for daily pay unless it was a several day job then we could agree up on other terms.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with dozens general contractors throughout my life and I have established relationships with them and have done hundreds of jobs.
