- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $10/signature. My travel fees are $1/mile charged in $10 incriments. Consultations are $1/minute charged in 15 min incriments. I provide witnesses for documents for $50/witness within 25 miles. $75/witness within 50 miles. I may charge extra for work during rush hour and inclement weather. I may provide travel discounts if client is willing to meet at a ferry dock for notary services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once receiving a lead from thumbtack I usually send 1-2 messages to the client, followed up with a phone call the same day. My goal is to book your appointment within same day of contact and have your paperwork notarized as promptly as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken three notary courses and obtained a notary certificate for document notarization and loan signing offerred by the national notary association. I stay up to date by continuing my notary education throughout the year and taking at least one class per year.
