FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Many times I work with children in the early years as that is when the struggles begin. If we can give children that early help they will look forward to learning as an adventure.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the tutor is a good fit with your child. As a parent you need to also feel like you are listened to and respected.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Tutors can be a parents best friend. Many times parents try until they are at their wits end. Finding a tutor that connects with their child allows the parents to get a little breathing space. A tutor can step in and take a bit of pressure off the parent. The parent can then be the helper instead of the teacher. Homework that students bring home can really cause stress for the parent as well as the child. A tutor can be like a road map helping us navigate the twists and turns like a pro. Hand in hand, tutor and parent are working towards a common goal. We are looking for a child that enjoys the journey. School is a journey that should be challenging - with each new year bringing attainable challenges and joy when each challenge is met.
