- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved writing and have a compulsion to correct every document I see, including menus. It's not really something I've striven toward; I can't pass by or ignore errors. It's a very natural process for me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Writing and editing policies, writing and editing blogs, writing and editing grants, editing resumes, etc.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just completed a 392-page project. I helped define the project, analyzed the gaps and duplications, provided relevant location on the web site, provided edits and suggestions to the stakeholder for the content, titles, and page descriptions, and sent to publishing. Created a phased-approach to the production schedule and maintained a weekly status report and timeline for the stakeholder.
