    Hi! I learned a great deal from Neil, he helped me with my footwork and boxing form. He's very patient and attentive. I recommend him if you're looking either to learn boxing or to get in shape with boxing training. He’ll get you in shape and works to avoid triggering injuries, and incorporates your preferences very affably. He’s also good fun which helps a great deal during a long workout.

      I didn't take the Karate class but you'll never find a kickboxing class more fun. Don't get me wrong it was tough work but it was fun too. Misha is a very motivating teacher. She keeps you coming back!

        Ray is very knowledgeable, positive, and challenges you to improve your fitness and health. I started working out with Ray at age 59 and with a 20 year lower back problem. He worked with me to protect my back as I became fit. My back is now 100% and I am in the best shape of my life. Ray is the best!

          Cody Houston has been my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing coach at CageworX for the last two years. He has a lot of experience working with many different types of students who have very different body types, levels of fitness and goals. He’s both a skilled martial artist and an effective instructor, excellent at helping his students learn techniques and application. You don’t just learn a bunch of forms/kata with Cody. Instead, you also do the amount of sparring/rolling that’s right for you (especially since I’m an older student) so you can actually learn how and when to use a technique or combination. Plus, he’s just plain fun to work with. He’s funny and he really cares about his students. I highly recommend training with Cody!

          I've been training with Sifu Steve at Dragons Lair 2 for over a decade. In that time I've learned not only how to defend myself in a physical confrontation, but I've developed confidence in all other aspects of my life. I started as a shy overweight teenager and the principles I learned through the teachings of Gung Fu have helped me to develop into a happy, well rounded, healthy adult. I highly recommend this class and this instructor to anyone who wants to walk the path of personal development.

            Jeff has been training with me for more than three years. He assists me in teaching martial arts students and students in the woman's self defense class. He is a certified third degree black belt in a sister Okinawan karate system. He is passionate in teaching the arts and relates to the students very well. He is able to break down the techniques and teaches the concepts and principles in an easy to understand way. He is organized and reliable and always thinking about how to improve what is accepted norm.

            Fighting Chance Seattle offers self-defense and kickboxing programs. Our self-defense for women program is available via group workshop, one-on-one lessons or as a corporate event.
