Dennis showed up in time and a bit early and worked very well on hanging our Christmas lights and removing them. He came over and made me three short hand rails for my stairs and installed them. Then he removed cardboard and paper for recycling from our move. i recommend Dennis for this type of work.
Kelly Martin did this right from beginning to end. I needed a small handrail on the steps from the city sidewalk to my landing. Kelly drove from Federal Way to North Seattle three times: First to scope the job and measure; second, to fit check the railing, and, finally, to install it. He provided via email a proposed sketch and photos of it during fabrication. The result was a beautifully designed, fabricated and installed handrail. I couldn't be happier. Thanks, Kelly! Craftmanship and quality service live!
We had a very small baseboard installation job with three challenging "transitions" - one to a tile baseboard and two to a stairway with different base design. Beyond our DIY abilities so we needed pro help! John came and worked with us on ideas until we were happy with the plan. Kevin did the work and we are happy with the result - particularly happy with the tile transition which involved removing old and setting a new piece of tile - beautiful result. Pleasant guys, easy to work with, took care with canvas drop cloths to keep carpet protected during job. Only reason not 5 stars is two missed appointments for original bid/measurement - once job got started, all expectations met. Would definitely hire again.
When they finished my industrial bannisters they were exactly what I had imagined. I had 3 bids, they were the best but they also gave me about 60 colors to choose from for the metal and the other Companies only gave me about 6 and said they could not do any other colors. I will try to get photos put up, I am waiting for the handrail going down my second stairs.
Last year, we had a company from Puyallup complete some remodeling for us in our home. Oh how I wish we would have found Build N Save prior to that endeavor. Working with BNS was a COMPLETELY different experience; an experience full of professionalism, accountability, trust, and outstanding craftsmanship. Johnny was on-site at our home, at least once, during every day of work. One hundred percent of the employees we encountered were professional, on-time, and had outstanding work ethics. It was apparent that there was excellent communication between all members of the BNS team, as each employee was always able to communicate what the plan of course was throughout every step of the project. Johnny was always easily accessible, and was in constant communication with us on a daily basis. We never felt reluctant to reach out to Johnny with questions/concerns. We felt as though Johnny and the team sincerely cared for the wellbeing of our family. We needed a wheelchair accessible bathroom built on extremely short notice, as my mother fell ill and had to move in with us. This being said, Johnny and his crew were able to begin the project right away, and finished within two weeks time! The BNS team was incredibly efficient in their duties, and the quality of their worked never lacked. We will never consider another company to work on our home, and have already referred several friends and family members. Save yourself time, and do not consider anyone else! Bravo, Build N Save!
Derek put in new vinyl floors in my kitchen and a bathroom after I had water damage. He put in a new toilet and put back my dishwasher and stove, made sure everything was working. He also put back the baseboards and molding in the kitchen and bathroom. He made sure I was completely satisfied with work. I thought he did a really good job, he pays attention to detail. Three days later I had replace a fence post for me, also did I a great job with that.
We had our garage drywalled an Derek & his crew did an amazing job!! They were on time, stayed on schedule & finished when they said they would!! I would recommend them! They kept the work site clean & we're professional & the price was fair.
Repaired composite decking that had been incorrectly installed. Work was completed when he said it would be, communication was good, and price seemed fair. Very easy to work with and would hire again.
Kurt and his crew did an excellent job on my upstairs bedroom and bathroom remodel. I would definitely recommend them to people interested in home remodles
I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Pro Welding. From the beginning to the end, it was all extremely positive. They did a beautiful job of making and installing wrought iron railings for the front entrance of my home. They look beautiful and I am extremely happy with the job. I would definitely recommend David at Pro Welding.
Pavel, delivered exactly what we invision for our stair railing. This company has a Great process BEFORE installing your rail, which insure proper install and meeting customer expectation. I'm in the Customer Service busniess and would recommend this company to anyone in need of railing!
I love my new stairs! Brookfield's David did such a fantastic job! I would refer them to all my friends and family!
Dave and his crew spent a month replacing all the windows and exterior doors and upgrading the exterior and interior trim in our 70's rambler. He coordinated drywall, electric and plumbing for our project. Everyone who came to the project site was kind, professional and gracious. Each day Dave and his crew left the job site clean and ready to go for the next work day. Dave was patient with me as I made decisions and dealt with the unexpected surprises that renovations uncover. We look forward to working with Dave next year to upgrade bathrooms, install facia and gutters and upgrade interior moulding and doors.
We asked Mike to paint an accent wall in our living room. He came in and moved all the furniture(he neither broke scrapped or otherwise damaged anything) laid down tarps and went to work. He was quick and clean. He did what is called a cooper wash on the two walls. I thought I was paying for a paint job, I know have art work on my wall. All of our friends are amazed on what was done. I tell them to call Mike to get their own art work done. He is better than good. I recommend him first for a great job done in a timely manner for a good price. I am serious, this guy is excellent.
Harry Vogen has five projects for us in the last year and a half. The first project was the roof the roof, removal of the old chimney and some structural repairs that were needed. The roof looked amazing, and his crew did a great job of cleaning up when done. Over the next year he has installed new gutters, built a new deck, and he helped design and organize a backyard project that included leveling out and building a stairway for our backyard. His company has also done some basic plumbing and electrical repairs inside our home. All of Harry's contractors have done a great job, everything was completed as planned with no complaints. We were very happy working with him. He personally supervises all projects and answers any questions that come up. After everything was completed this feel like an entirely different place.
Brock Builds completed my remodel on schedule with precision craftsmanship. My wife loves the vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and custom stone work around the fireplace. Not to mention the hardwood floors and wrap around deck to the hot tub. Brock is a straight forward knowledgeable contractor with an eye for perfection and design. There is no smoke and mirrors with this guy. Thanks Brock for making our dreams into reality.
We used Woods Welders to build the Railing for the main stair in our house. We were very pleased with the work. Our designer then used them to have a custom light fixture made for the dining room. Beautiful! You should definitely work with these guys.
Curtis did a great job refinishing my deck. He was diligent in his work and paid attention to details. I would highly recommend his services.
After agreeing to do project, James never showed up to start the work... Very unprofessional!!
I found Sergio through Thumbtack after struggling to find any handyman services that weren't booked out weeks/months in advance and actually responded to me. I emailed Sergio from the website to initiate the process and from our initial email we began communicating via text message. Sergio came out on a Monday to provide a quote for significant yard work. The yard work included removing tons of overgrown and invasive plants on my grandmother-in-law's Kingston property (think blackberries et al) and removal of some random junk on the property, as well as cutting down of bamboo (grandma's property has a creek running through it and there's more bamboo than the fertile lands of Asia). Sergio reviewed everything we wanted done and quoted it would take about 40 hours with 3 guys to process the work and removal of everything we wanted done. The rate is $25 per hr per worker so the estimate worked out to about 3k. Of course, I'm always expecting unexpected things to come up and I have zero experience hiring someone to do significant yard work like this. Sergio and I agreed to the work via text after receiving the quote. The next Monday morning he and one of his guys showed up promptly at 8am and began hacking away at junipers and blackberry plants on the property with machetes (what. haha.) I live in Seattle so I wasn't easily able to come out and constantly check on their progress. Sergio had one guy with him on Monday and Tuesday-Thursday he had two guys with him. Initially, we planned on them finishing on Friday but something came up and they promptly came (four guys, actually) on Saturday and finished everything off. The actual cost for (approximately) 40 hours with 3 guys was about $3,300 with about $750 in dump run fees (yeah bringing all those trimmings and leaves sure get expensive at the Kitsap dump, I've done it on my own in the past). And then sales tax for his services a couple hundred. Overall, it was about 4k, which was 1k over budget but seeing as $750 was dump run costs and like $350 was sales tax, it totally met my expectations. Sergio and his crew are polite, fast, friendly, and hard working. I'm pleased that we selected Sergio for our yard work. They did a significant amount of yard waste hacking and removal. My grandmother-in-law is very attached to some of the plants so they were very careful about preserving and protecting specific plants (whichever plants so wanted stayed, and the overgrown invasive plants growing on top of them were removed) and Sergio and his crew were clearly professionals at handling these Pacific Northwestern flora. If you're looking for someone who will work hard for you and be very fair, I would recommend emailing, calling, or texting Sergio to bring him out for a quote. Other projects we are about to have done that Sergio may be involved with and stated he and his crew can do, and will quote separately: -power washing and painting her house -grading, levelling, and filling her drive way with rock -aerating and seeding grass and laying sod -placing pavers to create unprecedented walkways -removal of old fences and installation of new fences So in addition to yard and junk waste removal, as well as professionally manicuring her plants, shrubs, and trees, Sergio and his team can do pretty much anything. Contact him for a quote. I highly recommend. :)
