- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A recent project I’m really fond of was refinishing the hardwood floors in a mid-size home. The floors had heavy wear, old stain buildup, and a few deep scratches, so it was a full refinish rather than a light refresh. I sanded everything down to bare wood, repaired damaged spots, and applied a new stain and protective finish. The whole project took about 4–5 days from start to finish, including sanding, staining, drying time, and final coats. I’m proud of it because the transformation was dramatic—the floors went from dull and worn to looking brand new, and the homeowner was thrilled with the result.
