FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
New products come out every day. At times I feel like an apprentice again. I do study some literature of the new products so I can keep up with them. As far as schooling goes, I school myself.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted a trade so I went to work as an apprentice pipefitter in the oil fields in Wyoming, and there I met a Master Plumber (Davidson plumbing). I lived in a trailer court there, and he was doing some work next door outside. I watched this man putting in a sewer line and some other odds and ends that he was doing, and as I watched him I could tell he was the type of man that knew what he was doing and that he took pride in doing it. After a few days had gone by and he was finishing up, he asked if I would like a job with him and I jumped at the opportunity to be his apprentice. I worked for that man for 5 years and I learned so very much. He was a master craftsman and I pride myself today to call my- self one as well. Believe it or not I have never looked back. I enjoy what I do and the new people that I'm so blessed to meet.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do mostly service repair and installations for all your plumbing needs. I also do mainline and drain cleaning with the top of the line equiptment and repairs of old sewer and drain lines.
