- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is simple. Each project is completed under a written Scope of Work (SOW). Pricing is based on the SOW and usually includes a not-to-exceed 110% of estimate clause. Some engagements may qualify for deferred payment or an Angel Equity Option, where we accept up to 50% of fees in equity.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call me and let's chat about your business. Then we meet for a free one-hour consultation - just to make sure we're a good match. I'll prepare a written framework for our work together (Scope of Work) - including project deliverables, pricing and terms for your consideration and approval. Then we get to work...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to stay abreast of news, trends, publications and books written on topics that effect owners of small to mid-sized firms. Since I do a lot of economic and industry research for clients I take a frequent look at the main business drivers and coming opportunities, barriers and distractions.
