We hired DJ Mike for our wedding reception, and we are so glad we did!! He was so easy to work with leading up to the event, was so flexible with all of our requests, and the evening went just perfectly. I can’t tell you how many compliments I got after the wedding about how amazing our DJ was. During cocktail hour and dinner, the mood was just right, and he picked just the right music after the cake cutting to get everyone on their feet and dancing! During the entire reception, he was the perfect MC. Thank you DJ Mike!!

Hired Mike for our wedding and he did a great job! My wife and I live in Spokane and our wedding was in Bothell, so all of the correspondence was done over the phone and by email (which made me nervous). Mike is well organized and made it EXTREMELY easy all the way through. Considering the importance and significance of the event, this was honestly one of the easiest transactions I've ever done. Pricing was very fair based on the research I did with other vendors and friends who hired DJs for various events. One of the things I most enjoyed about the experience was how self sufficient DJ Mike was. As you can imagine, on the day of the wedding my wife and I were running around trying to make sure all the bits and pieces were in place and he never bothered either of us. He brought all his own equipment and was setup and ready to go well before ceremony time. He also did an awesome job not only MC'ing, but with music selection as well. We hired DJ Colton for our high school winter formal and it was a great experience. Mike handled all the paper work and gave us a link where we could request songs we wanted. Colton was awesome and his sound and lights are the best our school ever had. He played songs that everybody loved. He also mixed like a real DJ not just playing songs one after another. We plan to book DJ Colton for our prom and future dances. Thank's DJ Colton!

We hired DJ Mike for our wedding and couldn't have been more happy with our decision! It was awesome that DJ Mike chose songs based on meeting with us just one time. We were supposed to give him more information about the kinds of songs we wanted but didn't (sorry about that by the way Mike!) and even without that he was able to keep our friends and family singing and dancing the night away! What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
DJs tend to be trend setters and the best guys and gals have an innate ability to feel the pulse of society. It's magic when you can play songs at a party before the guests can even think of requesting them. We subscribe to several blogs and record pools to update our playlists weekly so that the client always hears their favorite songs without having to lift a finger. We also work with top audio engineers to help me tune my custom sound and light system so the atmosphere we create is electric.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We have always had a great love of music. What better job for a music lover than a DJ?
