Fall City Puppy School offers several-private in home services starting with very young puppies for the right start to a life long companionship. Early puppyhood development sessions build a solid foundation for future Puppy School training sessions. It is my goal to keep. Through gentle desensitization, enrichment, and engaging training exercises, the puppy's success is easily obtained, and an amazing bond is formed! FCPS also offers purchase/adoption consultations to be certain your choice suits your lifestyle. Behavior correction sessions, and innovative training hikes are also on the menu. I truly enjoy the enhanced relationship between dog and owner once the owner has the "aha” moment when they finally understand what their puppy needs from them to move forward in a positive manner. I build lifelong relationships.

Janet is awesome! She is great to work with, doesn't waste your time or judge and clearly loves animals. Some people, in my experience, try and guilt you as a pet owner when you work and have to leave your pets unattended for periods of time. Janet provided solid and real world advice to effectively manage and train a pet, while still living a normal life. Her goal is to keep pets in the home. Very reasonable prices and doesn't try to schedule session after session or put pressure on the owners. If she feels you have the skills needed and need a month to practice she is honest about it. She clearly does this to help the animals and their owners, not the money. She is also very generous, even bought a bag of training treats for us to use at the sessions and sent them home with us. Some may overlook such a small gesture, but I thought it was incrediably thoughtful. This is a training you will not regret working with. What a fantastic experience and we will certainly be seeing her again. Thanks Janet! -Love Nellie, Copper, Peanut.

Janet was great! She has a very zen and realistic approach to training and helps you to work with your dog to get the outcome you desire. She fixed our leash tugging issue on the spot! She left me with a bunch of helpful tools to continue working with Lola.

Janet is a very easy person to talk to. She showed up on time and spent a considerable amount of time interacting with my Yorkie and answering all my questions. She gave me some valuable tips to acclimate him to his new home in an apartment. I will definitely be calling her back in a week or so to help with further training!

Janet is great! Our family recently got a puppy - Lucy a Shiyorkie (small breed). I got over whelmed and off track with training. Janet came out to our home and went through general training guidelines and basic strategies. Lucy LOVED her (and her treats). Great training resource!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial home visit is $80.00 which includes an initial puppy work session. If the client chooses to purchase more sessions, the price will be discussed at that time depending on puppy's individual needs and clients interest level.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I perform a brief phone interview and explain pricing. Then set up an initial home visit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate of Moorpark College, Animal Training Course 1990. Been involved with training and handling dogs, and raising puppies for a lifetime.
