Introduction: We have built our services and our photographic style based more on magazine fashion-inspired posing, lighting, and direction rather than on what is considered traditional. I love the glamour sessions. I like everyone's reaction to photos, everyone likes photos, but the glamour sessions let us really change how people feel about themselves and their bodies. It started when we first had a client come back for a second session (for her 1st anniversary). She pointed at a photo of herself on our studio wall and said "This photo changed my life. I have it on my phone and I show everyone. I never felt beautiful or sexy before this photo." We've had so many clients now say similar things. It is incredibly fulfilling to me both personally and professionally.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Price matters. Portfolio matters. Personality matters. That's it. The highest priced photographer that you can afford, who is showing the type of photos you want, and is someone you can work with. If you are looking at a wedding, keep in mind that price often reflects not the level of equipment the photographer is using, but more likely how much backup equipment they are bringing for when things go wrong. (And things almost _always_ go wrong. A well equipped professional photographer should make it so you never knew that they just broke a $6k camera and a $5k lens).
