My Fiancé & I usually aren't the photogenic type, however, Rowell made this very comfortable for us. He was super laid back and he constructed the experience to be as "normal" as possible. We took our engagement photos at Lincoln Park in West Seattle and are incredibly satisfied with the results. Thanks Rowell for giving us moments we can reflect back on for years to come!!! Go Seahawks :)

Where do we begin? Ro was an AMAZING photographer. Taking photos with a very energetic 4 year old is not easy but Ro was so awesome with Jae. He really understood what I wanted to accomplish and followed through perfectly. I was so pleased with the outcome of or photos. He has a great imagination and feel for the camera. Our experience was like no other. We would DEFINETLY hire him again for more photos in the future. He really cared about what we wanted and put in a lot of work for our engagement photos. We cant thank him enough! Thanks Ro!

We hired Rowell as our only photographer for our wedding, which happened last October 21st near Greenlake, in Seattle/WA. It was a rainy day, but we got a couple hours of good weather (even the sun showed up briefly). It's hard to describe how good Ro is, he is like a whole team in one person. He is an outstanding artist (his pictures are unbelievable), very organized, quick, sharp and prompt. He did much more than we expected, coming to the rehearsal dinner, staying until the very last minute of the wedding, taking thousands of great photos, being so gentle with everyone, taking photo requests, etc. I can't write enough good things about him. What could have been improved? It's hard to say. Well, the engagement photo shoot didn't go so well (my fiancée didn't like the pictures, although I loved then) because we came straight from work and didn't have chance to put make up on. It was our responsibility, I know, but maybe if we got extra reminders we would have planned better for that. Rowell, thank you so much for your professionalism. You are great!

We found Rowell Ducay through Thumbtack when we were looking for someone to photograph our new vehicles on a beach location, and this was the best experience EVER! Rowell contacted me within 20 minutes and we set an appointment within the next few days. His sincere interest in our project was amazing and his finished photos were absolutely beautiful! Our photos were returned within a couple of days and were gorgeous! The HD quality was perfect. He is truly an artist as a photographer! And a really nice guy to boot! Ro took our engagement photos at the Olympic sculpture park along the waterfront. He did an absolutely wonderful job - he was very easy going to work with, and took some awesome pictures. My fiance and I were impressed with both the quality of the photos as well as how quickly he returned them. We also loved the slideshow he put together. We are very excited to use him as our photographer for our wedding!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Quite honestly, if you are talking about a classroom environment or online course type of education, the answer is NO. However, with every shoot, there are lessons to be learned and I push myself to get better every time. Also, I do have some of my favorite photographers who I am influenced by and who I research to learn about and to understand their thoughts during their creative process.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It has nothing to do with what I currently do in the Navy as an Electrician, but it has everything to do with what I love and what I have passion for.
