About
I'm a passionate musician who has been teaching for over twenty years, since receiving my degree in music.
Teaching out of a recording studio gives me a unique ability to help students listen back to their playing and hear their progress over time. If you'd like to improve your playing, or even start a new skill from scratch, this is the perfect place to learn.

Ive had online guitar lessons from Dogfood Studios and cant recommend them enough. The teaching style is relaxed but structured, and everything is tailored to what you actually want to play rather than forcing you through generic exercises. Concepts are explained clearly, whether its technique, theory, or how to think more musically on the instrument. Its a welcoming, pressure free, the in person studio environment actually looks pretty cool from the photos/videos and you can tell the tutor genuinely cares about helping you improve at your own pace. Great for beginners, but equally valuable if youve been playing for years and want to level up or break bad habits.

Patrick is an excellent teacher. The thing I like best about his approach is that he'll take some time to get to know your particular playing style and what you'd like to learn and give you the next step to work on within the context of your skills. This is what makes lessons with him in person, and in real-time worth it. He'll look at the way you hold the instrument, the way you play, and provide that feedback in real-time. Learning by doing, and by the indispensable, super high bandwidth feedback loop of in-person lessons. Also he's just a pleasant guy to talk to about music. If you want to get better and have fun doing it, Patrick is your guy.

Was such a pleasure working with Patrick as he helped me create a custom video for my kickstarter campaign for my card game. He was professional human from start to finish and helped critique my script and tone in a way that greatly improved the video. He has a professional studio and took the time to educate me on all the equipment and the importance of audio when it comes to creating videos.Patrick quickly responded to my needs along the whole project and I felt like he treated my project with upmost importance. Rates were very reasonable and he was very flexible with my project needs.I'd highly recommend Dogfood Studios for any of your audio/visual needs!

Worked with Dogfood Studios for a remote music project (I live in Belgium). They were super helpful and delivered within the preset timeframe. Would music again!
