What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is needed in this profession as new technologies are developed for the homes we live in. Over the years codes have changed and tis has affected the way homes are built and lived in. Older homes present many issues when maintenace is differed while new homes can have defects when work is not fully completed.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A home inspection is a necessary step when purchasing a home. Make sure that your home inspector is certified by ASHI & InterNACHI and is a licensed home and structural pest inspector. You will also want to know when and how the report is delivered to you as you will want the report as soon as posible.
