I had estimates from several companies but appreciated Max's professionalism and frankness. I asked about spray foam insulation but Max did not try to up-sell me. Since I had no evidence of rodents he suggested to stick with what had worked in the past (cellulose and fiberglass). Other companies tried to scare me into using foam and others tried to get me to pay $1000's for a fan and mold removal (there was no evidence of mold or dampness). The bid was competitive but what made it stand out was they did all the paperwork for the PSE rebate (which was significant). Other companies leave you on your own to do the rebate paperwork which is much more complicated than providing a receipt.
The work crew worked hard and were respectful of my property. Because they were blowing cellulose, it took longer than expected but the team worked hard and stayed late to get it done. When there was a machine malfunction they told me the volume of insulation wasn't sufficient and they needed to come back the next day. Most homeowners aren't crawling around in attics or crawl spaces to inspect the insulation so there is a great deal of trust required when hiring an installer.) The removal and installation crews were very nice, worked hard, and were respectful of my house. The hose has scratched up some paint on my doorframe and Max came over promptly to fix it. Max was really easy to work with, his pricing is fair, and he is really honest. Also, he's not just the bid guy--he is on site to inspect the work both during installation and when it's complete. He also responds quickly to any concerns or questions. Insulation is expensive--make sure you hire a company that you trust to do the job properly. ...

USA insulation arrived in time and conducted a very thorough inspection of the attic space where we had need for rodent remediation and removal and installation of new insulation. USA arrived on time, conducted a through investigation, and provided plenty of pictures and a very detailed and professional bid estimate, which I really appreciated. They were easy to communicate with and responsive. While I ultimately ended up using another contractor I do believe this is a reputable company who will give you a far more detailed inspection and quote than many of the other contractors who bid for this job. Their price was certainly in range. I chose another contractor based on their availability for the dates when we needed to have work done.
Very pleased with the great service and professionalism of the entire team. So impressed by the thoroughness of the initial estimate Mike did and the guys that installed our much improved attic insulation. Appreciated the honest assessment with no attempt to upsell services we didn't need. I've already recommend them to several friends. Highly recommend USA Insulation.

I hired USA Insulation to insulate my property and they did a wonderful job. We had issues with drafts in winter, high electricity bills, condensation on our bedroom wall, and a crawl space with rodents and odors. The USA Insulation crew was professional and communicated well and worked smoothly. The house is much cleaner and warmer. Strongly recommend!
