- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the general public the basic fee is $25 which includes all the travel time and mileage and the first two notarizations (after 6pm and weekends basic fee is $29.) Each additional notarization is $5. For our business customers the basic is $35 and for attorney clients the basic fee is $45 which cover the same as above plus any waiting time at the signing location. The same $5 for each additional notarization applies as well as additional $4 during evenings and weekends.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We respond as quickly to a new customer as we can which can be only moments or at times several minutes or more, in case of variance of communication technology. Once we have a dialogue going we can more accurately quote and set a time which is most convenient for the new customer. Many of our customers are repeat customers having found we are responsive via text, phone, email or ThumbTack.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having worked as an escrow closer and later a vendor to the escrow industry has taught me best practices vis-a-vis notarizing. Having many clients in the business and legal sphere also has sharpened my skill set tremendously. This benefits members of the public who depend on notaries who can craft an affordable solution to their notary service requirement.
