A few months ago, my fitness level plateaued from jogging/kickboxing 4-5 times a week. I also had a history of minor knee problems. With that in mind, I wanted to work with a trainer to focus on building/maintaining muscle mass as I age and possibly pre+postnatal training. I am happy to have found Jess -- she's very experienced and knowledgeable in working with women of various fitness levels/life stages. Her workouts are well-designed and effective. She also pays close attention to posture and use of muscle groups -- I have been doing so many exercises ineffectively before I met her! In addition, she's very friendly, empathetic, and encouraging, which helps me get through lots of challenging workouts. I am already feeling much stronger physically and, to some extent, mentally! I highly recommend her.

I signed on with Jess for sessions twice a week and now - a few months later - have the results to show for it: Im in the best shape Ive been in since college (hello abs, Id missed you...) and have a much better understanding of my own musculature. Jess is a patient, understated teacher. Shes creative - theres always something new when I show up for a session - and results-focused. I can honestly say that Jessica is one of the most professional, hardworking and dedicated trainers I’ve ever worked with. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She began working with me during my fourth month of pregnancy, and right after I was recovering from foot surgery. Jessica customized a training program to suit my particular needs, and adjusted it as I became stronger (and more pregnant). She helped me remain strong and active throughout my pregnancy and helped give me with the energy I needed to take care of a little one post-labor.
